Well in first seconds I thought: "Hmm, this old merchant is trying to sell his old merchendise". But then come those voices and rhytm! Joking but only partly: Skyburks and other tracks is "tipical" Krafti but so much richer in sound and much more kraftig (powerfull) with every new album he give us here on Jamendo.
Fanfan - is typical exemple. It starts with known sound colors, with minimal spots of little sounds and than Ivan voice, like, explodes in this minimal movements with powerfull poetic voice. (I said on another place but I am repeating here Ivan is better and better in his presentations of texts, ideas and emotions - hes on master level now, really). But it doesn't continue like linear poetry, predictable, like Cvijaxo (lol). Krafti manipulates voice and melts it in sound and all that disapears in ethernity.
In Isopu - we have reverse proces. Childish voice comes from infinity from space or desert wind, wind from spaces and create almost horror feeling.
Poira - seems to continue on Isopu in main tone and sound color of space wind or frozen moment whre behind it Ivan, again, in his masterful voice tells the story. All that abstraction, part of ambience deep unconsciousness and, logically, voice corrupts and dissolves again in curtain of sound.
Lika Mino Sim - is just plainly boring :). No seriously, those ambient guys havent learned a thing from punk :). On serious side, Krafti with three notes, clear el piano notes lifts, industrial noise on ambient level. He obviously needs this 12 minutes to spread whole timescape in almost plastic sound picture.
Kogito - is one of my favorite tracks here. Digeridoo rock and roll :). Very refreshing both in change of tempo, sound picture and in use of vocals.
And Murphon is again typical KraftiM with all the needed twists to make fresh ambient without repeating himself.
In short fantastic atmospheric experiance with Ivan and other voices included as awesome kraftig spice on all it. Deep bow and respect.
(Now, guys from Mtrade - this is track commenting! .)
Actually I have nothing more to say. New Pierre-Marries music is always hollyday for my ears and peaceful (though his music is not necessary peaceful) meditative medicine for my soul. This is a kind of classic music that really can reach me and enjoj every byte of it :)
Thank you for this moments my friend!
I loved this thing before I heard it when i saw eterique and heretique version markings. Cool. I was not dissapointed when I listened to it either. Strange chilly singing och ghosts under cross. And menuet of dusty beings.
I like uberlulu experiments bacause I never know what he is going to come with next. It seems perfectly logic for experiments. This time it's very colorful sounding listnable and enjojable miniatures. It seems that Marin will destroy structures with sho(ck)rt cuts in perfectly deent melodic flow. Dunno about that :)
Superb little work particulary violin. Thanks man.
Well I am listening this with mucho snow outside and it sounds really winterish cosy to me. Ivan is just better and better with time like good wine. His voice amplifies churst's very balanced, superbly atmospheric tripp hoppy track. One of their best so far definitelly.
Thanks guys for making my white day
I must say that TWC are much more minimalistic and noisy than I excepted. And I like every second of it. Warning though - this is not record you listen only once - you'll miss a lot if you do it.
Divine Whore - Beautiful minimal noize (actually with touches of blues if you listen carefully). Voice is clear beutiful instrument in contrast in glitching main background. Love it.
Guitar MOvement - Noisy. urban. NOt much guitar here. Again Voice makes beautiful ambient (sadness).
Everybody Wants Euphoria 2 - I don't listen meaning of text first time I listen things. Just the sound of it. But here it is ipossible to miss explicit languange and, well listen what everybody wants :). BUT meaning of words can be distraction from excelent rhytam and sound quality to it. Chips like to experiment and they are uncompromissing as I heard. Good. Good.
Guitar Movement II - My kind of stuff. There are strange melodies, beautiful timbre - more traces of it than developed things. Good. Good.
broken record 666 - Well, don't play with devil.
This reminds me of many things from The Books to Sonic Youth. But big difference is of course sound which is despite of it's weirdness and experimental nature consistant through whole this little EP.
Thanks for awesome experiance and sharing !
Very entertaining experiment. Especially Transfusion. Electronic music in light which is not just cold dance rhytm. Very well produced and executed but with pair of very cool ideas shining through. I liked I Robot a lot.
This sounds like those strange dance radios I sometimes listen late at night and wonder "who is dancing to that now?". They sounds like radios from Twilight Zone or something like that. As always churst is deadly precise and can his sound perfectly well. Good, oiled dancing machine in twilight zones.
There is no much variety in Starry nights composition structures. They are rising or falling repetitive spirales, ellipses, cyrcles. Variety is in sound, in carefully chosen sound colors combinations twisted and layered i thick structures like Vang Gogh style in starry nights.
Not so rich maybe but abiental nature of music compensate that.
Repetitive more like waves or wind or nature, but different in their expanding nature. Here we don't have passive ambient, we have self learning developement. Learning in repeating. Repeating in lerning, thick oily painted or pastelly washed life cyrcle it depends of composition we listen.
I don't like long ambients. But I understand that here time is needed to develop wide and rich soundscape.
Excellent work
I like Button's thoughts! Sounds like Old Syd Barretts Pink Floyd song. Very soft and cool. I like "weak singing " as Martin says. Francman singing on english :). Ghost views sounds like Nico because of that. In short I like album very much. It has great atmosphere and it's eeezy and cool to listen. Like choice of instruments and kind of oldish feel (not pulpish - oldish).
Thanks for sharing:)
