This was recommended to me by someone. I always take a listen to the albums people recommend me, and for the most part they can be dissapointing. Not with this one.
I was a little apprehensive at first, On first listen, I had to think that Grit VahlPahl's vocals are too sharp for the guitar and bass work underneath, but once I got get to Moontrip, it blended - well.
On second listen I started to see the quality behind the song composition, the more I listen now the more I hear, which in my book makes this a very strong album.
With great Dark Wave/Rock tracks like Misery and Never, I surprised how TCR have not been pushed into the limelight yet.
Every time I listen to new Azoora tracks I can see style, technique and production improve.
On my terms is, in my mind, the best track of the EP, with Pauls voice washing over you, with very direct lyrics.
Well worth getting your hands on this.
The ambience of this track works well, especially as this is the first song I've heard from this group.
Very mellow, even with the "scratching" at the end. That was a little unnecessary.
This is a Stunning little album, it brings back some of the good UK music styles of the 90's well before all the dull imaginative music that is produced today. Well worth getting this and supporting the band.
This is the beginners guide to Grindcore. The music you play when your a teenager living at home and want to annoy the parents.
When you are older, you play this to annoy your neighbours.
Not for personal use - it has to be through speakers, not earbuds.
The tracks here are well put together, and after listening to the full album, you can be sure to put it down shake the dislodged wax from your ears, comfortable in the knowledge that it is a job well done, and that genre of music has been experienced.
Whether or not you want to come back and listen to it again is up to you, for me, yes - not right away - my ears have got to stop ringing first.
