Der Eröffnungstrack "Information" könnte direkt aus dem Soundtrack des legendären Films "Hackers" oder der Animeserie "Serial Experiment Lain" stammen. Absolutes Cyberia-Feeling. TOP!
Etwas melancholischer kommt dann "Looser" daher. Ein paar 8bit Arpeggios fügen sich geschmeidig in die traumhaften sound-scapes ein und werden vom Gesang umwoben. dazu kommen dann noch schöne Bass-Läufe. Traumhaft.
Mit dezenten orientalischen Anleihen kommt "Mühold" daher. Es grooved und lädt auf eine geistige Entdeckungsreise geführt vom Gesang ein. Eine äußerst interessante Mischung.
Den Abschluß bildet ein sehr jazziges "Do What I Like". Piano, Drums, Bass und Gesang in absolut professioneller Qualität - was will man mehr?
Dann ist das exzellente Album aber leider schon zu Ende. Ich warte jedenfalls auf mehr von diesem fantastischem Projekt.
I don't understand Italian, but I can still tell that this album rocks.
It's skilfully mastered and the singer can evoke great emotionality. Rhythm guitar and drums add to the pressure needed for a good numetal album. The walking bass lines give it a lot of dynamic to enjoy. The arrangement build-up of the songs is rather classical, but skilfully executed.
It's a pity that this album is rather short with only 4 tracks and that I don't understand the lyrics, but still I can feel the emotion.
Well first I'm thankful that this album has separate tracks. So I can point out the ones I like. As usual all sounds are heavily distorted and sound rather muffed with vocals one can hardly understand.
The starting track "Kamille in Love" is not very much to my liking: too little variation and not enough rhythm or melody. "Plastik 2" is only a little bit more enjoyable. But "One Day with 1" features an interesting groove/bass line. "One Day with Theme" moves on to the singer picking up the melody part in a rather happy mood (with respect to the rest of this album). "Prologue" starts off quite conventional with distorted fx, guitars and percussion. Soon to be followed by the usual vocal passages. Some interesting fx make this worth listening to (at least once). The next track "Miguel Flies" is nothing special. "The Alps" starts off interesting but does not fully live up the this. Still it's one of the better songs of this album. "Single 2" and "Single 3" sound like I've already heard those on one of your older releases. "Upset" has a few interesting sounds in the percussion track and "The Clock" is just another song without much impact. Then "The King" shifts to a more pop-like mood with its moving bass and some tension building up. This and the electro part at the end make it one of the better songs of this album. The song "19" features some fat wah guitar chords which make up the background texture. But the vocals are boring as in most other songs.
In general I'd like to see you evolve, Kouki. You mastered the muffed and dull distorted goth-rock thing, but I'd like to have more variation. You're playful with distortion, but please try to get this to the next level. Especially the vocal parts could use much more variation. In general your songs lack distinct features so one can tell them apart easily. The texts may be different, but as those are hard to understand it takes very much of concentration to focus on those. Otherwise all vocal parts just sound like tormented noise with some not that catchy melodics.
The rating for this release is rather low as I'm starting to get saturated with this particular type of songs and therefore had a hard time listening to the whole album.
Well, this album features the usual kouki style distorted and muffed sounds one already knows from previous albums blended with creepy stretched vocals.
The single track actually consists of several parts:
First there is a remix of the bladerunner theme, which is done quite well and is interesting to listen to. then there's a rather lush part, which did not catch much of my attention. The 3rd part features detuned synthies creating a complex soundscape for an open ear. More distorted vocal parts follow to then be moved to a happy mood and rather pop like spherical ambient trance part, which is worth a listen. The next part features detuned bells and rather clear vocals which occasionally send shivers down your spine. After this kouki takes you down to hell with a devilish atmosphere - not for the faint of heart. After a while it morphs into a joyful asian stlye tune with some industrial ambience.
Overall the sound of this album is not as mangaesque as one could conclude from the title. It still contains some interesting motives and sounds.
What I really hate about this album (and some of the former ones):
If you're doing very distinct parts (one could say songs), why do you have to glue them together into one very long track? It's very inconvenient for the listener/reviewer if one wants to listen to a certain part. So please refrain from doing this.
As Miss Fairchild is releasing vocal and instrumental tracks of the song under a quite permissive license this release calls for lots of remixes. apart from this the song is nice candy pop with some big band and funk elements.

Well it's just one song from a compilation, but it's got a groovy feel with acceptable vocals. Not extraordinary great, but still solid listening pleasure.
Not that bad actually, as this album shows some dadaistic and experimental trails. Of course it is not pleasing the ear, but it goes post rhythm and clear sound. one would not call this music, but noise, but still it poses as a refreshing antithesis to traditional music.
The first track (Single) features heavily distorted and time stretched vocals, but does not deliver enough variation which would be worth listening 13 minutes, despite the two breaks. It might be suitable as background music for some goth film.
The second track (Upset) starts off with some interesting percussion but dulls out after this with more distorted vocals and only little variation.
I've heard much better from you Kouki. This release is difficult to listen to.
Bisher ist man von Herrn Sacco ja sehr solide House-Scheiben gewöhnt, jedoch schlägt dieses Album ganz andere musikalische Richtungen ein. Die dürfte daran liegen, daß auf dieser Veröffentlichung viele andere Künstler auftauchen. Die beiden Bonustracks sind jedoch klar als Stil Antonio Saccos zu erkennen.
Die größtenteils akustischen Stücke verzaubern durch schöne Melodien und gute Abmischung. Sie kommen oft in sehr reduzierter Besetzung daher und wirken so auf den ersten Blick simpel. Es verbergen sich allerdings feine und geniale Kompositionen in ihnen. Sehr gut gefallen mir die Spielgeräusche der verschiedenen Instrumente, die der Musik einen menschlichen Anstrich geben und zusammen mit dem gelegentlich vorhandenem Gesang ein harmonisches und stilistisch abwechslungsreiches Album erzeugen.
Es lohnt sich definitiv alle Stücke anzuhören, da hier sicherlich für jeden Musikfreund das ein oder andere Schätzchen dabei ist.
Das Album ist gut gemacht und auch innerhalb des Genres abwechslungsreich, jedoch fehlt mir an manchen Stellen noch der letzte Funke Glanz, die ein oder andere Spitze oder Variation, die etwas experimenteller und ungewöhnlich ausfällt.
Die Instrumentierung ist gut gemacht und das Mastering stimmt; lediglich die snare paßt sich gelegentlich nicht zu 100% in den Mix ein. Das Intro könnte allerdings etwas besser gesprochen sein. Insgesamt ist das Album düster, etwas melancholisch und größtenteils ruhig und melodisch. Somit eignet es sich für die späteren Stunden im Club zum Chillout ganz gut.
Es gibt allerdings auch den ein oder anderen "Pusher" auf dem Album zu entdecken.
Aufgrund der CC-by-nc-sa-Lizenz steht auch nichts einer Verwendung für Videoproduktionen im Wege, wofür z.B. der Track "l'ombre du lac" sehr gut geeignet ist, da er sehr nach Filmmusik klingt.

Stücke die mir besonders gut gefallen, werde ich ins Programm mit aufnehmen. Bei ganz frischen Alben besteht auch die Chance, dass das Album zur "Platte der Woche" gewählt wird, die dann üblicherweise Di-Nachmittags vorgestellt wird. Zusätzlich thront es gut sichtbar inkl. einer kurzen Rezension auf der Homepage.
Also hört mal rein und entert die Politik!
