Our band nocreeps was founded in the year 2000 in Rosenfeld (Germany). Starting off with just three members (Manuel Hafner/guitar, vocals; Micha Völkle/drums; Matthias Etter/Keys), we tried to get some first impressions of the scene. Soon two other musicians joined us: Benjamin Schubert (guitar) and Boris Müller (bass).   At the beginning, the band members’ average age being just a little higher than 15, we dabbled in cover rock. Playing songs from Metallica and Nirvana, we managed to win our first fans. Although we were successful, we decided not to keep playing cover songs, but to try some original compositions for the first time. We just could not hold back our ideas for own songs. By doing many demo-recordings and taking part in many newcomer-contests, we reached more and more people. ` Break of Dawn ´ , our first professional album, was recorded in 2002. It contained four of our own tracks of that time.   In the aftermath we got to play several attractive gigs (e.g. support band of Ektomorf, The Wohlstandskinder, End of Green ) and even organized some own concerts. But at this point, we had to suffer a setback on our way up. Benjamin Schubert left the band due to his job plans. But luckily, it took us less than one week to present Bodo Staudacher as new lead-guitarist . He fits in great! Together we kept on going for our big goal: a new album.   With the money we had made from our concerts we were able to record ` Time to Differ ’ in March and April 2005. It showed how much we had improved technically over the past three years and that we played together much better. With this album we want to show other bands and young people everywhere that you do not have to go with the flow just to please society’s mainstream. A musical episode which seemed to be forgotten underwent its revival – with lots of new drive.   The album was a hit. Its overwhelming success enabled us to get lots of attractive gigs and to play to large crowds. For the first time we got to play for more than a thousand people . This really encouraged us. Over the years and by playing lots of gigs (sometimes very professional ones) we have gained a broad experience that we try to show every time we are on stage. For the last six years we have been working together and we get along very well. Over the years we actually came up with a name to describe our style of music:   ‘ Massive Rock ’   Some say it cannot be compared to anything else …   By playing many gigs in 2006 (e.g. support band of Twisted Sister, Gotthard, Die Happy, Jaded Heart ) we were able to take the next step: Once again we entered the studio. From March until May 2007 we recorded a new professional album, hoping for it to be as successful as the last one. Our hopes and expectations were far exceeded. The new album ‘ Nice Noise ’, which contains 13 tracks, is technically of high quality. To be able to work on such a high technical and professional standard is rather out of the ordinary for many bands. A lot of well known rock magazines confirmed this and even categorized us as one of the newcomer bands with the most promising potential for the future .
