I am so thrilled to find this album on Jamendo. I'm usually not a fan of country, but this album is an exception, and I'm really excited to see a genre local to me with such a free license!

Kelly Allyn has a great voice, accompanied by a great country band and backup vocals. I love the voice effects in "I Did It All By Myself", but I'd say my favorite track is probably "Gotta Keep Moving".

I really hope I get to see Kelly in concert some time, and I can't wait to see work from her in the future.

This is incredibly high quality 90s pop rock. I'm surprised that it took me so long to find this.

The vocals are fantastic and I love the exciting, feel-good music. The recording quality is excellent. Also, the cover art is very professional. The lyrics are decent. I love it when jamendo artists actually post their lyrics like Connor has. My favorite tracks are "Make Ends Meet" and "Blue Room".

The license is a tad restrictive, cc by-nc-nd, but it is great to see such a seasoned, decorated artist using creative commons. The track "Bobby & Me" is perhaps a little cliché in both lyrics and sound, but it refreshing to hear that sort of thing in a free culture context, where little of the non-free culture cliché appears.

The album had some faults, as mentioned, but it still deserves 4.5 stars for how high quality it is. I am thrilled to see this album hit free culture cannon.

Perhaps you are sitting around thinking, "Man, I could really go for some Italian funk-hop right about now". If that is the case, this E.P. is for you.

The first track is great. It makes me want to wear baggy pants and strut through the colosseum with a big gold pizza medallion. But seriously, the first track is hoppin'. The others aren't that bad either.

This was a really strong folk album with a heavy helping of jazz.

It is easy to see that a lot of talent went into this album. The instruments vary significantly from track to track, keeping a potent taste of variety that is missing from many albums of this genre. Everything was well executed, and despite my ignorance of the French language I can still feel the vocal melody.

I only wish I spoke French to understand the lyrics.

Appart from a few tracks, this album was really long and unchanging. The artist appears to have some talent, but doesn't really seem to tap into it. I'd suggest polishing your work a lot more before posting it on Jamendo.

This stuff is good, but It's not spectacular enough to deserve more than 3 / 5.

The first one is too long for how weak it is, and both tracks suffered from a rather bland unoriginality.

It was certainly agreeable to listen too, but I'd like to see something less bland in the future.

This is a fantastic collection of traditional Christmas songs.

As always with Allison's music, both the instrumental and especially vocal music is amazing. One of the things usually missing from an album composed of well-known songs is a distinct measure of originality. Allison Crowe does an excellent job of adding her own unique flavor, a very freeform meter, that is characteristic of all her work.

I would be even more pleased if the license allowed derivative works, but there is no doubt I will be playing this album incesantly at Christmas time.

Once again Allison, please come to Virginia and sing.

This experimental electronica album was mediocre at best.

It seems like Ecart LeSon put a decent amount of work and effort into it, but there was something much more essential lacking. Imagine a brass doorknob polished with the pride of an olympic gold medal. That sort of describes this album. I did like "Klönen", "Vive Massilia", "Got it down" (Each in a different language; a nice touch), and perhaps parts of the others, but on the whole few tracks impressed me at all.

On the bright side, I'd say this is the best work Ecart LeSon has put out so far, especially in how well polished it seems to be. Go for the gold next time.

If you like solo piano, this album is for you.

There is nothing lacking about this album, and nothing more to be said.

This album is beautiful; even better than her other albums Allison Crowe has posted to date.

Her voice is stunning and the piano is great. The combination of the two are fantastic, but I'm not sure it is fantastic enough for 5 stars. Also, points off on the license. It's not quite free music if you don't allow derivative works. I find this album to be much more rhythmic than her others, making it easy to follow the music and lyrics. The lyrics are emotional, or at least the singing certainly makes them seem so. I could imagine Allison singing the ingredients off a bottle of ketchup and me wanting to cry with senseless emotion.

Not to mention that Allison Crowe is really gorgeous herself. Allison, if you are ever in the States, let me know. I will go see your concert, buy you dinner, wash your car, etc.
