On a affaire à un grand artiste qui n'a rien à envier à des pourtant très grands comme Massive Attack ou telepopmusik.
La voie, les instrus, l'ambiance sont ici très travaillé ce qui m'as permis de rentrer facilement dans ta galaxie :)
Continue comme ca! (sans prendre la grosse tête :))

Gefällt mir nicht. Zwar der quasi typische Organic-Despair-oder-wie-der-Künstler-sich-auch-gerade-nennt-Sound, aber noch ne Spur experimenteller als sonst.
Was mir vor allem nicht gefällt sind die ständigen Empfehlungen für irgendwelche Alben, die man hier nach zwei Wochen schon nicht mehr findet...

"In The Nightside Eclipse" has reached new dimension. Beautiful music for lonely nights, or.... You know... The moments with your women just after dinner but before "bed".
By the way, how much of Thom York is in "Thom York"???

Trippy but not hoppy

I agree with Ivan's review here. This album is so polished that it strikes as already heard commercial stuff. But I don't agree in wondering why it is so popular. The thing with Organic Despair is that beyond references he don't try to hide (Radioheaed, Massive and so on) we have and authentic Organic Sound here. It maybe is not most original in the world but it has that particular seal in melancholic voice, play of silence and rythm choosing of instruments which we always recognise as OD and not someone else. This album is ovously tribute to influences and it does job perfectly. I like Massive just in that context. Massive Attack and Tricky leave big empty space behind them and tripp hopp as genre is using that space. OD in the best possible way.

The main feature of the alternative "marasme (06.11.2007)" by Organic Despair is the result of a strange fusion of sounds with a beat groovies calm, with an excellent guitar. As an example the track "JAMES" which creates a new proposal
In the album, the sounds are unobtrusive, symbolized by bits of information that can be processed well. Organic Despair is not limited to working with audio files of small size, is an artist who works well with technology. The project "slump" is based on a mix of electro-acoustic improvised processes with semi-automated devices for creating a complex sound harmonic incidental stratification and move to the transformation of sound fields. Large sample, the track "Thom Yorke," which is drawn very well for these sessions.
Organic Despair is always looking for new ways of musical composition, has the best mechanisms to guide the formation of musical styles. And that shape his musical taste.
