This sounds like a nikila piece slowed down with some saregama effects, sounds and perhaps bass line added over the top - where is the jazz guy? or is this Duolexity? ;-)
It's a good track, it starts quite emotionlessly in a slightly industrial manner then builds to an almost saregama like positive mood (nearly). On that note this is why I feel it is an album track, not a single as on its own it doesn't stand up*.
*Here I must say that it is not weak! But the band have set the bar very high for themselves so this is a comparison of triplexity to triplexity and not triplexity to your average jamendo artist.
again on that note, it is a good step out to a slightly new sound (for them as a band)
If i was listening to this and it wasn't triplexity I may just give it 8or9 and pile encouraging remarks on to the artist. As triplexity I feel a different review is required.
Ok 4th listen to the track and it makes more sense. Seems to build quicker now I have a feel for the track. Another reason it stands as an album track as it is not so 'instant' as a single should be, but requires listens to get into it.
Over all, well it's triplexity (or at least 2 of them (sure the other guys in there somewhere)), so it's polished and good music, again, as i said after afro blue, i await the album, stop teasing us.
