"My Mary Lou"... Mais son auteur n'avait pas grand' chose à dire: "Hello Mary Lou, Tell me how are you? I wanna find you ..."
Great White Horse, vidéo: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9dXFUJiHMvw
"I'm coming up, I'm coming down, I'm right on top or on the ground, But I'm still on the road again ..."
"Lost And Found" n'a que trois accords (Ré, Do et Sol).
This world is killing me, So sad, God, no dog's free ..."
- "No Name", ballade Folk improvisée.
L'embryon de la chanson n'avait que quelques mots: "I feel insane, So much pain, In my brain ..."
Translation by Google :
"My Mary Lou" The music came first and the words followed. But its author had not great things to say: Hello Mary Lou, Tell me how are you? I want to find you ...
"Great White Horse" was composed for ... a horse living in the Vosges, France, and which belongs to a German woman.
"On The Road Again" is an old song composed around 1975 in Hull, Quebec. The guitar chords of "She's a Woman" by Paul McCartney of the Beatles served as a base. "I'm coming up, I'm coming down, I'm right on top or on the ground, But I'm still on the road again ..."
"Lost And Found" has only three chords (G, D, C). The additions of other guitars were improvised on arpeggios. The result is something kind of mystic.
"Sunshine" The music is complete but not too many words in it. It is that Lacroix is more melodic than lyricist: "Sunshine, moonlight sing, Sometimes feel like I'm dying, This world is killing me, So sad, God, no dog's free ... "
"Grand gallop" is an instrumental unfinished. It was composed for a friend of Lacroix, Jack Charles, who loves country music.
"No Name" Folk ballad.
"Emeraude" sometimes something great happen when you tune your guitar in Open Tuning.
"August Rain" It would have required an element of rain to accompany this instrumental.
"Insane" composition which was never completed. The embryo of the song was only a few words: "I feel insane, So much pain, In my brain ..."
