A nice little jumble of improvisation to start. Then, Autrefois. Delicate, resonant, deep background noises, followed by a minimalist rhythm and snatches of vocal. The beat builds with the voices, keeping all at a reasonably acceptable level. Quite lo-fi. Then the rhythm builds with the music, to a sonic peak, leading to the remainder of the track and an altered musicality. Glitcher starts with some wicked sounds and continues building itself up, bit by bit, all mixed into the bowl gently but sure of itself. It's almost like a musical palindrome. Then, Language. Not one of my strong points, English being complicated enough for me. Quite a mellow track, minimalist but with a curious strength. Les Flutiots, bells and squiggles of synthetic sound blend with a low-key drum beat. Overlaid with a flute sound that represents the track of the track. Part way through it reaches its zenith and then reverts to its' former self. Contre is just a play with some nice little sounds in it, which suit it because it's a little track! Followed by Harpibidouille. Strong bursts of sound, mirrored by vocals. Then percussion kicks in to liven it up a bit, whilst the track continues, to its strumming end and sibilant rattle. Jokalvazz, or should it be Vokaljazz? Overall, an intriguing collection of musical expression.
