Origines desassemblées, a deep, sonorous voice en Francais. Then the electronics slowly blend their way in. Nice sounds. Quite an eclectic mix that works very well together. A stuttering start to Eau, with quite a haunting feel to it, nice atmospherics. Love the stereo play at the end. Hop Hip again off to a good start and building a nice structure, fills the aural channels very well. Stipabud an easy-going piece of electronica. Ticindian a lovely little interlude.
37Min starts on its epic journey with a pattering of synthetic noises, slowly drawing together its loose strings, within a few minutes becoming a brilliant array of electronic construction. A fair amount of variegation goes on in the meeting of this music with the listener, well worth the effort and I'm only ten minutes in. A track of magnificent proportion and skill in maintenance. The ambience changes dynamically for the next track, Robotique. Again, very nicely done indeed. Captures the essence well.
Albi is a lovely sweeping soundscape, with some nice percussive moves. Develops into a grand track. Au départ, is initially sparse then begins to fill out and grow into a relatively fast paced track, with some nice synthetic work over the top. I like the progression even though it is somewhat obtuse, it works curiously well. L'Aube could mean so many different things, it has a sense of movement over an area, so I will go with the still several geographical connotations. So it's about a place, shall we say. Perhaps, by the sound of it the river. Nicely variegated track construction.
The next track, 7H37Min, is a cool minimalist piece of work, I like it. Sur une route, is definitely on the move and very dynamic with a brilliant sound to start with and continue with. Still with a mind to travelling, Rêve en train, gets going with its dreamy qualities and chugs along quite nicely. Very energetic. Autrement, is a slow, languid electronic wandering which is otherwise good. Music in slow motion, which increases pace almost to the point of sheer chaos. Then it ends up being music in a blur.
Funkyfunk retains the motion and essence of the main part of the album, with some pretty wild synthetic moves. Again, more of the same strain with Vitek, just a different arrangement. Missiles come in abstractly to begin and continues to bombard you with a strange array of electronic sound and structure. The bats squeak in La Caverne, and manage to create a decent percussion for such a rare mammal. The pace and content are becoming more familiar now as the album progresses.
Dob electru, squiggles and squeaks, with a soaring, sweep of synthetic sounds. Echoing drums and a simple melody that ebbs and flows. Démo3 makes me think of Pink Floyd on amphetamines. Quite like the tone and the structure is pretty quick in its movement and development. Lastly, at the end of a very long album is Feux et chants inconnus. A mid-paced, almost tribal sounding piece of electronic creativity. Lights and unknown songs, and what a long, strange trip it's been. Well worth a listen if you have the time. Nice work.
