This whole album is actually a remake of unreleased tracks recorded back in the 90's. Hence, the whole album isn't very homogenic, except perhaps for the theme used in both the first and the last piece. Still, this particular incarnation was meant to be played as a whole.
Lament for Carl was conceived in a shock.
I dedicate Friendship and Belief to the memory of Renald.
The piano solo in Taboo is closely based on Schubert's Impromptu in G flat major op. 90 no. 3 - Andante.
