The Symphony No. 1 was composed from 2001 to 2008. It has a classical 4-movement structure and uses a large romantic orchestra. Stylistically, it is contemporary orchestra music. However, it is definitely tonal and sometimes reminds of film scores. The four movements are: Andante - Adagio - Presto and Vivace.
The Sinfonietta is an orchestral work in a light mood, composed between 2003 and 2004. It is basically a shimmering orchestral waltz with bursts of positive energy. The piece is built upon very reduced (nearly minimalistic) material being transformed in various ways during nearly eight minutes.
