This is exquisite and I've only just tasted the first track. Proud and confident, with the strength to be essentially simple. Calc has a fine ring to it, fresh and morbidly good. Simple sounds in a complex framework of relationships. I loved Redialing Disfunction, specially when the guitar kicks in. In fact, I just love the whole album. Obviously a good combination of artistry has gone into this, to create an off-the-beaten-track sound with courage and competence. It's experimental because for things to evolve and survive they have to be willing to be experimental, or at least have that force. The world's grinding to a halt because there's no allowance for the natural flow of the forces involved. Music like this is indicative of a realisation that things must change for the better. Call me crazy if you like, but Jamendo isn't just the array of the same old dross and rubbish they pipe profitably through the media channels, it could be the start of the revolution!-)
