Cool intro. Then Last Screaming track was suddenly upon me, it was spooky. Good sounds. Program Progman easy-going, loved it. Then One, pierced my brain on a stake on sound and it was pleasantly painful. Big bassline for My Friends Are Dead, and creepy layers, and all because you still talk with them when they are. S.T.A.L.E. nice bit of electronic, and straight into Stop with it's throbbing bass-ness. Turns somehow into this hypnotic tune that lulls you into a complete state of insecurity. It's great. 17hs reminds me of an insect I once dreamt off, it was a scarlet red butterfly and it sounded like this track. It's a top piece of music. Old July is simply wonderful and I love the tune and it's confident style. Next the title track, nice mix to start, to the bassline and drums, then haunting organwork. Then terror strikes into your heart, just when you realise that there is No Things No Hope No Love. Then Target Torment, scattering cymbals over bass and deep piano, the horror of being that victim of the inevitable, some time, some place, some how... AC23OV begins with magical synthesis of noise, some discussion in binary, some cybernetic gossip, either way it does seem to get a bit heated as the track progresses, ultimately making good terms at the end. Next comes Powered, very percussive to start with a juddering monkey organ. This is then elaborated by more powerful and confident strokes of key and skin. Then it drums it into your skull like an oriental monk. With a little flurry of prayer at the end to a god that must be good, as inspiration to wicked sounds!-) Straight into Sequentrine a kind of readaptation of Powered, like the other part of a simple puzzle, following on as a logical conclusion. Noutro has the sad message that 'all good things must come to an end. We can only wish in our souls that this THING gives us HOPE that there is a severe progression with LOVE as a whole.
