I've a definitive PARSONS' fan, i can say i've live a long love story with his music, something like this:

As a teenager, i've discovered first " Eve ", his 3rd album,then " I Robot "...Student, i bought " The turn of the friendly card " and " Ammonia avenue "....when i turned into CD , i bought 2 albums, in 1989: "Southside " from TEXAS, and " Eye in the Sky " from APP.

Young married, i listened to " Freudiana ", and coming in South of France in 2004, my car sounded with " Return to Tugunska " from " A valid Path ", and so on....

What sounds nice to me in PARSONS' music is, above several things, the talent he has mixing Rock music with classical choirs and instruments, the epic orchestral sound with the synths and all the modern sounds of the guy who worked the sound of the Beatles, the Floyd...

My little album is not an imitation, it's my music, but i tried to give my little gift to the Master, not pretending having his talents, by the way...i think i'm " parsonian " in the way in can mix many kinds of musics, using synth sounds but keeping epic and melodies, some softness...so to say, i give to the musician and sound master my money back, i owe so much to him. Thank you Mister!!

Je suis un fan absolu d'ALAN PARSONS, je peux dire que j'ai une longue histoire d'amour avec son oeuvre, comme suit:

Ado, je découvre d'abord " Eve ", son 3e album, puis " I Robot "; étudiant, je me paie " The turn of the friendly card " et " Ammonia Avenue", pour finir, quand je m'équipe en chaine CD, à acheter 2 albums CD, à savoir " Southside " de TEXAS, et " Eye in the sky " d' A.P.P.

Jeune marié, je me régale de " Freudiana " sur la plage, et frais arrivé en 2004 dans le Midi, ma voiture résonne des sons de " Return to Tugunska " de l'album " A valid path ", et ainsi de suite...

Ce qui me conquiert dans sa musique, ce sont, entre autres, ces capacités à mêler le rock et les choeurs avec les instruments symphoniques, les sons de synthés avec des sons épiques et les effets d'avant garde de celui qui fut l'artisan du son des Beatles et des Floyd...

Mon album n'est pas une imitation, c'est bien ma musique, sous forme de don au Maitre, sans prétendre égaler son talent, au fait....je pense être " parsonien " dans ma manière de mélanger les genres, d'utiliser des sons synthétiques au service du mélodique et de l'épique, sans négliger une certaine douceur...je paie en retour, pour ainsi dire, ma dette à ce musicien et maitre du son, je lui doit tant...Merci, Monsieur!!
