My "Persistence Of Vision" musical project begun in late 2002 with the uses of synth sounds and ended in 2008 with "Lufituaeb" in which I used some VST orchestral instruments well combined in order to obtain a fusion between electronic, ambient and classical music.
The objective is to extablish a link between composer and listener giving a magnetic effect (which I called 'persistence'), and that's something happens into human memory as a reminiscence.
You can feel this effect looking at a Mandelbrot fractal mathematics function image. In music, I applied some ideas in the 15+ minutes endurance title track "Persistence of Vision" and in the last track "Akoe" which is the end theme and it mixes original Native American flute with Northumbrian Bagpipes.
In "Thuata De Danann" you can feel the choir effects that seems to say something near title words... that was a very hard work for me to do without real voices, so I hope you will like it.
"Around the Trees" and "Inti" have the caption of ethnic music cause they were originally meant to be standalone tracks and "The Ocean Wings" too, was concerned to be an independent sountrack-oriented music written to be a classical instrumental one. I hope that you like 'em also if they are not new-age classified.
The track "Lufituaeb" - which is the last one I wrote - is an impressive voyage in the world of new-age relaxing music with a redundance of themes that fill exactly with the concept of "persistance" I told you about.
