Description

It's about us. It's about you and me. Now it's our time.
Don't think about them. They can't understand. They will never can.
But they're not here. We're alone. Don't worry. I will protect you.
Forever. I will protect you from them. Put your trust in me.
Together we're stronger than them.
So come on. Don't think about them and come on. Now it's our time.
Now it's time for our naked instinct. We are the black jewels.
We are the black jewels and they will never destroy us.
We are the black jewels and we are stronger.

"We make ritual noise.
Shouting to be heard, cooling our burning lips.
We break down the gates.
Open up our wounds, bleeding for innocence."

Brain splintering beginning, brilliant already (I admit I am somewhat biased, I find alvarsovy intriguing). This is where it's happening and the track title says it all, the avant garde, the revolution potential in musical creation. Entertainment and fix this messed up world. That would really cause detriment to my bandwidth but we all have to make sacrifices I guess. Wonderful end to a wonderful track. Maniacally brilliant. As for the second track, yes I was to start but the clouds parted and the sun came out. Thanks for asking but how could I be low with another consistently good mad musical genius of this artist. It's a good track, minimalist, slightly industrial, not dark nor necessarily gloomy, more matter-of-fact and certainly not indifferent.

The third track actually sums up a conclusion to my eventful day, and others who know me will perhaps attest to this. However, like I've always said to people, there's a doorknob there but you don't stand next to it constantly turning it one way or another, so why do that to me? I might be paranoid, but it doesn't mean that they are not out to get me. To put icing on this lovely cake of a track, somebody recently said that I am exceptionally unlucky. So, the sensation, like this track, is water off a duck's back. Very nice musical construction. 3/3 so far.

I Will Protect You, musically is an interesting structuring and quite a stern deep melodiousness to it. Almost as if it really means it and just as you think, hang on a minute this is going on, that slight change appears right in the nick of time, to the limit of audio endurance. That's how to push the musical experimentalism to a boundary where others would fear to tread. Brilliantly achieved, so I hope that is what the intention was!-)

The next track comes over as a slow motion, relatively low key industrialism. Like a metal press. Quite a unique pulsation goes on and the counterpoint melody creeps in underneath it, like a crutch on a limping invalid. But it's like that metal press and the horrible symbiosis you have to endure to get the job done, sometimes that's all you've got to get you through the day. A reluctance pops up now and then. Note the evasion...

Black Jewels puts me at a semantic difficulty potentially, so I would genuinely appreciate some feedback on this preferably from the artist but the floor is open. Are the Black Jewels referred to in anyway connected with my megalomaniac desire to overrule the world's governments with abstract electronic music? That would be so cool, but somehow I doubt it. It's all part of my mental disarrangement:-) Hey, it worked for other dictators but look what it did for them in the end.

OK, so away with my conception of what is truthfully and sincerely avant garde, what is my epistemological prolegomena. It's gone, faded, jaded, dusty, in a corner somewhere, but somehow I have to be Stronger Than Them. Is that fate or faith or face. Whichever, they are all applicable in their own senses, even if not all three at the same time, and probably, knowing the cards are stacked against me, a few more to add too. Crosses, bearing, blah, blah. Nice straightforward track full of ambiguity. Work that one out.

Come On, My Dear. One of the last things you should say to someone who is having a psychotic episode or someone who is listening to the new Alvarsovy album, either way it's going to be a rough outcome, and the scar is for all around in the vicinity. Kind of like a bomb going off. There is something, if not explosive, certainly combustible in this track. There's something about the sound, like a box of matches being struck and looped. It is actually very well put together. Entertaining, like whatever.

The same thing kind of creates the nucleus of the following track, but Naked Instinct has to have a more serrated edge to it, which it achieves admirably well, I think. I mean we are taking quite a leap of fate, faith, face when the primal scream kicks in. It's like a migraine, you have to have them to really appreciate the level of mental damage I believe they cause, at a very fundamental level, that can effect anything that a brain controls, which is pretty much everything physical and mental. I'll avoid the fourth dimension of the spirit, but there has to be an element that incorporates that as well. This is the 1% of mystery in the mix, the magic potion that no one can really capture, but some can get a whispering ghost of a chance at. Nice long track, which works very well. Decent electronica, to be sure.
