Released May 2009, THE CALLING features 12 new acoustic songs with blues, folk, and country echoes. It also signals a softer, more peaceful vocal syle from Wright, comparable with Iron and Wine, Nick Drake, and Elliott Smith. Good orchestration and guitar sound , sorry but i dont like your voice maybe another one like it but i tell what i think

S'l fallait une preuve que l'abus d'instruments ne fait pas la qualité d'une oeuvre en voilà une et qu'est ce qu'elle est belle. Je suis fan de tout, la guitare est magnifique, les rares interventions des percussions sont toujours à propos et la voix est magique et envoutante (juste une petite chose, pourquoi la voiler autant par moments).

Sorry, I've made a mistake, I press the wrong button, I just wanted to react to what Syntharmony said, not sticking to it... I really like what you do, it is nice to listen to when we want to be relax ^^ I enjoy "Could I be a dream" and "Trust"

Une voix folk exceptionnelle

De fort belles compositions folk, un voix exceptionnelle, un feeling particulier et captivant, et un jeu de guitare lumineux. Chargé d'énergie positive, cet opus ne me semble pourtant pas aussi irrésistible que 'Dylan is not Dead', mais peu importe, j'écoute toujours les albums de Sean Wright avec autant de plaisir.

First, thanks for your invitation!
On the whole, this album is quite good, but something troubles me.
I think the songs are repetitive, too repetitive on my opinion. A good bridge during the song, after one verse, misses.
What's more, I've heard some wrong notes. Deepess and some more notes in tune misses in the voice.
This style of music is not my style at all, but this album is otherwise quite good.
