Sonesta Records with Goa Records are pleased to present Dj magazines top 100 Producer for 2008, Solar System featuring his Private Selection an Album of his all time hit singles never before compiled in one place. Lior Lahav a.k.a Solar System was born in the city of Naharyia. Born in 1982, the diligent artist has contributed immensely to the Trance culture in Israel. Taking inspiration from various disc jockeys and artists, Lior became a disc jockey at the youthful age of 18. It was not long before he exploited his potential and started production. Liors' project Solar System, reflects his Full On style of composition, which is particularly appreciated at open-air gatherings. Although his style may be broadly defined as Full On, his upbeat, melodious and deeply tuneful tracks segregate his music from the rest of the artists that fall in this category. Lior..s inclination to make powerful tracks allows him to pull the crowd into the vortex of energy that revolves around his persona. His ability to create a vigorous atmosphere is highly appreciated by many personalities in the Trance community around the globe. He has been producing for over 10 years at his home studio in Israel. Solar System has 20 releases on prominent compilations such as K-Files (Utopia Recs.), Goa 2005 Vol. 2 (YELLOW SUNSHINE EXPLOSION), Radioactivity (Point Zero Recs.), Radioactivity Part 2 (Point Zero Recs.) and Open Air Vol. 4. (YELLOW SUNSHINE EXPLOSION). Solar System tracks are released by distinguished record labels such as Psytropic, Yellow Sunshine Explosion, Midijum, Trancelucent, Alchemy, Vision quest/mp, Tribal, Point zero, Mgma, Substical, Utopia, Heart of Trance, Darcu, and more etc. To add to his credentials, Lior has traveled extensively to showcase his talent to many cities. Solar System has played in cosmopolitan cities such as England, Denmark, Germany, Portugal, Turkey, Morocco, Greece, Cyprus, Switzerland, China and Brazil. He shall now commence his latest world tour.

When the effects of a heavy mind bashing seem too much for the poor psyhead, out comes DJ solar system with his new album! The motto of the album seems to be “move your feet and just let your mind flow down the caverns of peace”! Retaining a few dark elements the tracks move the listener slowly out of confusion and into the plane of utter calm!!
The album starts seductively with touches of a musical Casanova, who lets the basses bounce rhythmically over the silvery tings of various elements. The track invites sweet love, never permanent! The album then switches mode and jumps right onto the dance floor. The bass line retains its strength through the entire track while the effects take hold of the right combinations to make you flow with the crowd! An evening out with nothing but yourself and a faith in the “cycle of life”, not a stone shall remain untouched now! Must be because it is the 21st century that a neon revolution jams the speakers with the “bamboo forest remix”, swirling lights and neon fantasies rule! The fifth track begins with a very well know “aww” sound that brings back memories of some teenage funk, but the sounds and the base line transform the track into something very fresh and does not give you any time to think back.
The sixth track onwards the effects become unpredictable. The sounds are cleverly tampered with so as to simulate opening a soda bottle on a tripped out rainy air strip, while in the eighth track the listener can easily visualize waves crashing on top of each other producing multicolored foam!
The most effective track in terms of an artist should be the ninth because it keeps the background sounds and the effects to a bare minimal and yet produces very strong and forceful sounds.
The ninth and tenth are mixed with touches from two master, Solar System and Noga. While Solar system’s love for uniformly distributed beats rule the basses, Noga’s artistic melodies and chants bring a dimension change throughout the tracks!
