The first song goes right in, and then you aren't deceived 'till the end of the record, that you wish to hear again right away. The mood is excellent, the songwriting quite clever, the vocals are litterally haunted, it's both simple and well executed. I love the influences : obvious 90's standards (Mazzy Star, Portishead), some Pixies-like guitar riffs, a once of electronica (but not enough to draw me away), and maybe a bit of Rn'B in the vocals from time to time (the real thing, Aretha Franklin and so, not the ersatz the industry is trying to stuff us with these days). You should lend an ear to the 16pac album called Endless work in progress you sound quite like them. Definitely this month's good pick for me, thanks for this album guys.
