Gute Alben aus diesem Genre habe ich bisher auf Jamendo noch kaum entdeckt. Serenades haben mit "Father" ein gelungenes Album veröffentlicht. Streckenweise richtig bombastisch.

Anathema scheinen wichtiger Einfluss zu sein. Zumindest höre ich Sie in vielen Ansätzen. Ein bisschen Paradise Lost. Vor allem der voluminöse Sound kommt super.

Wirklich beeindruckt bin ich von der Tatsache, dass dies eine One-man-show ist. Sehr cool!

Beim nächsten Album wird dass Schlagzeug und der Gesang noch einfallsreicher, es gibt ein paar eingängige Hits und ich lege noch ein paar Punkte drauf. :-)

Anche a distanza di tempo l'album riesce sempre a trasmettere emozioni.
Un grandissimo ritorno per una band di cui chiunque ami la musica scritta col cuore non può fare a meno.

Straight gothic metal. Quite enjoyable, thanks to both decently interesting songwriting and a heavy production (vocals could've been mixed a bit more upfront, though). Patiently melancholic, unfolds with grace. Don't expect too much originality, but to some extent you can expect integrity and honesty.

Wow what a spectacular treat this band and this particularly guys awesome, deep, dark, stimulating arousing meaningful theatrical voice was for me on this epic Gothic, metal, rock album. That has such an outstanding atmosphere and compelling listening material of an dynamic electric thrashing guitars and penetrating drum beats as well heard.. It was dreamy, magical and surreal at times as well. Medieval and melancholic also, as well as having slower ballads as well heard at times. It was dramatic, powerful, mystic and eerie as well.
