Here is the first act of Giles Howe and Katy Lipson's new musical-opera 'Turkish Delight', performed at The Black cap in Camden, London in August 2006. Please also listen to Act Two!! It's quite different!! Turkish delight live at The Black Cap starred:

Turkish Delight est un spectacle oscillant entre Opéra et Comédie Musicale où seulement 4 chanteurs poussent la chansonnette, vous pourrez d'ailleurs découvrir quelques vidéos sur http://www.myspace.com/turkishdelighttheopera et l'ensemble de l'album, en 2 parties sur Jamendo. Tantôt drôle tantôt tragique, les 4 acteurs/chanteurs (2 hommes et 2 femmes) nous entrainent dans l'histoire dramatique d'une liaison amoureuse. Folie, suicide, adultère, ... Un Britannique Gay et meurtrier et un Turque et 2 femmes dont une "folle" , . De l'Opéra surprenant... Niveau musical : de chouettes musiques et des chanteurs qui donnent de leurs personnes. Turkish Delight sera en représentation à Stockholm au mois d'aout...

Ce duo aurait besoin d'une bonne production, mais c'est apparement une prestation en public. Sinon je suis très friand et bon client de ce style si expressif et ici décalé, moderne et faussement décadant. La voix masculine est hélas un peu en-dessous de la chanteuse, qui assure quand même son cailloux.
