The 16BIT is simply music. Don’t try to search a hidden sense – there’s no one here. To live, to play, to give feelings, emotions and good mood to the listeners it’s quite enough. The 16BIT was formed in 2005. As a basis of a music line the band has taken Brit-funk groove, clear harmony and good qualitative Russian text.
The music can be characterized as rock new wave, brit-pop, funk, indie, blues. The 16BIT has a quite busy concert schedule, and they are hospitably received both in small clubs and on big open concert stages, that has been confirmed by performances with such groups as Chicherina, Bratiya Grimm and etc.
The 16BIT is one of the most promising music bands, and they take part in a creative organization Mindcrusher, which produces and advances live-music in Russia.
At present moment musicians are recording their first full-format album at the Mindcrusher Labs studio . But you can hear the recordings of the band on the single “Millions” (2007), on the music collections “Neo-revolution”, “Mindcrusher vol.1 and vol.2”, and also on the air of different Russian and international internet-radio stations.
There’s also an electronic project Run_Dom_Paulse , which develops within the limits of the “live” band 16BIT. “Pocket Rocket” is the first high-grade release of the electronic side of our band. It came out in January, 2009 on a CD and earned a lot of positive responses among diverse electronic magazines and musicians.
