With a tint of Britpop, MoOt takes songwriting back to its roots. His songs will seem familiar to you on the first listening.
In our time of electronic music, digital downloads and mass-media comsuption, MoOt takes out the fakes and puts his money on the essence of pop music songwriting, standard 3 minutes 30. A verse, a chorus, a bridge and there you go ... his tunes will stick in your head and never let you go !
The story started in 2007, when MoOt went into the studio to record few tracks. He will stay there 2 whole years, writing, recording and producing the songs, playing each instruments. The first album "Life Is Talkin' Misery" was released in April 2009, and is now available on CD & Vinyl, iTunes, Amazon, and many more ...
On May 2009, MoOt was on Tour in Liverpool, the city where it all began, spreading the music all over the place, from Hannah's, Aldo's Place or Heebie Jeebies, to mythic venues such as The Jacaranda and The Cavern Club.
2010 started right with a European tour and the promotion of "Life Is Talkin' Misery". Sales were good and the LP ran out of stock. In the meantime, US Market opened its doors and a CD/DVD Live Album will be released in September 2010, including a live version of the famous "I Am The Walrus" by Lennon-McCartney.
MoOt is also working on two LP's, the first based on collaborations with other artists and the second based on his new songs. A promotional video clip of a new single is also on his to-do list.
