Ciao Mondo, I'm a western guy called N.D. Monroe born in the shade of McDonald.
I've lived these dark years in a city where cars are supplied with Esso Fuel and I grew up with Kraft, Nestlé and Coca Cola.
Geez! That's why I haven't a good karma.
I drink a lot of coffee, I smoke like a chimney and sometimes, when I can't sleep I write poems.
As Francesco De Gregori said: the poets are ugly creatures, when they speak is a swindle.
On balance, however, I work in a steel mill and I'm destined for a violent premature death.
Here in Italy if you aren't a football player or a musclehead you aren't woth anything and unfortunately I was a skinny boy not good at soccer.
That's how I became a musician.
I play guitar since 1998 but I never gave a lesson.
Want you to know the truth?
I learned to play strumming on "Rocket to Russia", "Catch a fire", "Funhouse" and "Marcus Garvey".
People could rip my earrings and delete my traditional tattoes and see that nothing has changed.
