Nach dem ersten Zusammentreffen im Herbst 2004, fanden sich im Jahr 2005, die heutigen Mitglieder der Band WAKE UP zusammen, um erste Songs zu schaffen, die den Anspruch hatten, Leute mehr wie nur mitzureißen.
Nach dem Warm-up im Proberaum und auf verschiedenen privaten Gigs, starteten die vier Knaben ihre Live-Ära auf verschiedenen Festivals und Veranstaltungen im flachen Teil Deutschlands, bis hin zu den ersten großen Erfolgen.
Heute sind WAKE UP eine regionale Größe und begeistern auch jenseits des Ruhrpotts die Menschen mit ihrem ungewohnt harten Rock-Sound. In Zukunft geht es mit gewohnter Geschwindigkeit voran, sodass man noch viel von WAKE UP hören wird.

In year 2005 the current members of „Wake Up“got together to create songs, which were entitled to fascinate the crowds (audience)
After the warm-up in the rehearsal room and on different private gigs, the four guys started their live era on different festivals and events in the plane part of Germany. Today the band “Wake Up” is quite big in the local music scene and fascinates the people with its hard and heavy rock sound. In the future the members of “Wake Up” continue with constant speed, so that they’ll make it.
