Countdown, groupe français des environs de Nancy. Metal progressif, les références du genre étant Dream Theater, symphony X, vanden Plas... Fondé en 1996, le groupe a évolué entre heavy et hard rock pour s'orienter vers le métal progressif. Apres plusieurs démos tels que "Footpath of stone", le groupe sort l'album "chains of a martyr en 2006". En 2007, le groupe change de studio et sort le single puis l'album "Break Rise Blowing".
Countdown is a progressive metal band from Nancy (France), the music universe is according to Dream Theater, symphony X, vanden Plas... Born is 1996 and evoluting from Hard rock to metal, finally progressive is THE good one. Some demos as "Footpath of stone" and "chains of a martyr" lead to a new album in 2007 "Break Rise Blowing".
