Kolokón is a band of something they call “rock and roll patxuko”, but the world also knows as “pachanka”, “mestizage”, “etno-music”, “world music”, “scramble-eggs”, and thousands of names that suggest crossbreeding and big fun.
They were born thanks to the painful sacrifices of their leader, former attorney San Sebastian born Benito Jaúregi, and they hope to health the blues of their beloved beings with stings of good vibrations, good feelings and good stories.
Their music host everything, from rock to flamenco through reggae, salsa, ska, rumba, fado, blues, soul and in general all that music that sounds authentic and oozes popular lore.
