Formed the mid-early 90's, Swimmer was to bring noise pop to the doorstep of northern bavaria. Members were Hans Forster (Seaside Stars, The Monster Bronsons), Andi Schuwirth (Seaside Stars, Plafagh, The Mason Dixon Line), Klaus Kießwetter (Beige GT, Jenny Lund) and Andi Hudl (Sexo y Droga, Mondo Fumatore).

The Swimmer Anthology, released in 2000 on CD-R-only, features all available recordings by the band. It will be available for download on Jamendo quite soon.

Swimmer split up in 1997, and returned in 2000 for a single show in their home town, Weiden.
