Though team9 has been around for a few years now, I recently discovered their message through Pitchfork’s parent A&R Worldwide. What had strike me about their electronic sensations here was the lyrical delivery of soulful ambitions; mostly because of featured artist Rosie with track titles “As We Travel” (my favorite) and “Ultra Violet”. Team9 also brought one more track to my attention titled “We Don’t Disco Like We Use To”, helping to represent the album’s eclectic touch. To witness such eclecticity, the Aussie team9 “and the founded sound orchestra” has provided their most recent MySplice compilation release, featuring exclusives from Bloc Party and a handful of others, as a free download offer available on Stereogum.
