Practicing for the late night show,
With eyes that shine, & stars that blow,
Sitting in a no man’s land, between brains & inspiration.
Green leaves are floating across north & south,
They’re leaving like steamless water
They’re leaving thoughts & feelings, to blue skies & dark clouds
On that balcony, I can see it all,
Everything is still, calm right and tall.
In the hazy clouds of my imagination,
Council’s on the way for a decision.
