The recording is so poor it sounds like the microphone was put outside the closed door of the concert hall.

My zero rating is due to technical problems and not the ability of the artist. I could not hear his performance well enough to rate his work.

In general I liked the album. Latin rhythms and a reggae beat work for me.

Unfortunately the singing leaves a lot to be desired. The opening vocals on the first track "Tres De Cuba" are painful to my ears.

The lyrics on "Carnival of Doublespeak" are great but the lead singers voice is thin, flat and reedy.

I find the singing on "Anthem" and "Constant Reminder" a lot nicer.

No serious musical or spiritual experience here. Just funky New Age beats that will leave you in a good mood.

Nice easy listening electro with a strong adventure game flavor.

When a prolific artist like Bert Jerred releases all his material on Jamendo in such a short time it becomes difficult to come to grips with it all. Perhaps a "Best of Bert Jerred" playlist will make a review of the artist manageable.

"The glade, and other songs" is most probably my favorite album of his. It seems to have a smoother sound than some of his other albums.

Unfortunately the singing on "I Know Time Is Passing By..." starts off painfully strained.

The second track " 別府NIGHTS (2008 disco take)" has a great retro feel with good singing. Don't be offended but it makes me think of an Amanda Lear disco number ;-)

Rap is not my forte but this is something special. Social protests songs delivered by a rapper in a kilt :-)

Light Latin folk. Ana's voice has a lovely timbre.

Pleasant teenage angst pop.

Hauntingly beautiful singing. What a pity this is the only song posted by the artist.

The cover art expresses the feeling of the album perfectly.
