Robin Grey - Only The Missile

Robin Grey

Only The Missile

09/05/09

Once again you have made my day, and blown me away; Saving grace, last time I saw David. . . well, the last time I saw David; Adam and EvE. remember she gave him the apple-- it was up him what he did with it;doomed to be free, we must tread the path, choice? To keep on keeping on, transforming lead into gold. Only in the fiercest fame is the doss drawn from the gold. Somewhere, somewhere. will find a home. Somewhere, somehow, exiles we walked this twisted street. Somewhere, some how? Gold is turned to lead to to gold; we are put we leave behind; this place is not our home; we all have ears patched with Autumn leaves, but never have I heard it expressed so beautifully. In the particular is the universal catch your experience, flitting as it is, but do so then you have gold. Robin Grey has touch the abyses. and come back againt to tells all what is in stall for all of us. This guy has suffered and turned all that shit into the beautiful shinning gold; 24 caret, pure, beautiful, terrifying, yet known to be true. It is not ieaching the destination that is so important but the journey. We all suffer, but some of us transform it into something else - art. This man is an artist; wonderful stuff.

I love Leonard Cohen. We love Leonard Cohen. Life has no sense to it; or, I wonder is there, the alchemist, turning lead into gold. Beautiful stuff, hauntingly so, it touches me, both body and soul.

Lovely rhythms, some excellent finger picking, bluegrass; Melancholic, softly hastening, whispers through the half-opened door of the future, the closed door of the past. The album is poetry in motion, suggestive, lunar like it lingers in the mind, the soul. Beautiful stuff.

These guys can play. The bass and drums lay the foundations beautifully;I love the ambiance of the singers voice. The guitarist is a master of his instrument.I wiuld can this music a fusion of rock, based on African rhythms with a hint of the Caribbean through the horns, and modern jazz. Wonderful stuff. It is uplifting in spirit a little like absinthe: teardrops of the moon, neater of the gods.
