With elements of Jarre and old school 80s techno this track is stellar. Need more, this is just a tease! Good music is like crack, one puff is never enough!
Although as a genre, ambient relies on repetitive themes and variations upon such a theme, this album feels like it relies too heavily upon the repetitive element of electronic music. I found the album to be a decent effort, but somewhat unoriginal. The second track, Dekmaster, featuring wind flute rhythms, is a little too cutesy and reminded me a little of videogame music, but not in a good way.
This album has a calm energy which permeates each of ne8ularis' chill tracks. Despite being a soothing, calm album, this effort from ne8ularis does not bore; each track carries its own weight with a soft and emphatic aesthetic, without being somber or morose. The second track could use some studio work; the mixing is a little off, but it does not distract too much from the overall album.
An excellent album which could easily stand up against any more commercial efforts. Bravo.
