Whow! this music really touched me deep inside.
Firstly because I lived 3 year with my kids in Dublin. Sure! Every single note the 3 first songs remind me the pubs, either in Temple Bar or in the middle of Dingle's peninsula, with a band every evening, singing "how much hard but yet nice is life, how strong friendship can be and how much can hurt a treason..."
This album can remind us too this thing: Music is universal and travel through time and space. I'm not a specialist at all, but all the historical links between Spain and Eire made possible this thing: Celtic music is alive in Spain.
Many thanks to XERA to share with us this joy to be alive, to have a very deep background & history.
All the best to you all.

When listening this work, I have no clue what the lyrics are about exactly, but the mood of every song touched me deeply.
Thanks to share this with us.
All the best for next steps.

Thanks for what ?
To let us enjoy your work of course!
I could read this demo was release in 1999, at the age of 17 roughly ?
If its true, I'd like to congratulate Mr Lambert.
Please feel free to post a new album whenever you want !
Cheers

Three things which came to my head first.
And this guitar! What a guitar !! What a broad range of emotions & energy from these 6 strings !
I've been on her website as well. All here is quality - wonderfull pictures & site.
I sincerly hope and think Ruth will splash soon!
She definitly deserves it.
The only personal point: I'm absolutely unable to sing or whistle any of these titles, and this is, subjectively, a (very small) disapointment.
All the best Ruth!
It deserves all your attention fellows. Yeap !
Perhaps would need some violin as well ?
Great songs, marvelous pace and atmosphere.
A must on Jamendo.
Cheers

Ok, Steve (van) Allen is a super great player, virtuoso !
He could even be a guitar hero if he would be less "present", i mean, if he would let the accompaniment take the place he deserve too.
He could as well change his lead guitar sound. Make it more personal.
Anyhow it is a great performance over here.
I'm fan

All this art, here, in my ears !...
It sounds, from my point of view, like an "acoustic ART of NOISE" ( Huge compliment, believe it ! )
Really professional recording & realize.
I like pretty much the jacket too, looks like an "Old Europe stuff", so in contrast with audio material.
Congratulations. Hope you'll be famous ! !
Thanks

A bientôt
Le Crabe

Now this guy starts to give pretty good things.
But care! The Oldfield syndrom is not that far!!!
The sound is rich and easy listening. Keep working.
Thank you.
