This is really good hip hop. The mix is smooth (nothing sticks out) and the vocal talent is impressive. One small gripe - one or two sounds are too obviously samples with them cutting out suddenly and starting again. The music's so good that I barely noticed though.
The overall ambient mixture sounds good. I like the reverb, the percussion and a lot of the instruments, but one or two, this is most obvious on the first track, just sound simple and MIDI. If you're not dissuaded by the sound of the first track, the second is virtually the opposite with a cleverly mixed guitar and there are some lovely ambient sounds and compositions to follow.
This is an album of instrumentals with diverse influences. A recurring theme is funky basslines, but layered with dance sounding synthesizers on some tracks and blues guitar on others. The musicianship and recording quality is superb (minor a short period of digital clipping) while the compositions are both catchy and quirky.
This album is a true gem and it's style is industrial reminiscent of Front 242. I love whatever processing is used on the first track. The electronic instruments sound great, but more importantly the song writing is creative and inspiring. One of my favourites on Jamendo.
An interesting mix of rock guitars, folk instruments and compositions embracing both musical styles. It's not Flogging Molly and it's not Nightwish, for me it's more impressive. Expressive songwriting and professional recording standards are obvious and there's lots of musical talent at play.
The first thing that caught my attention about this album was the name as there are few in this age that consider the concept decadence important. This album's entirely instrumental and the compositions are rich and complex, as is the instrumentation. Influences range from techno to high art (classical) to ambient and the mixture of these concepts and Saelynh's own musical creativity is very enjoyable to listen to. My favourite tracks are Cult of Blood and Le Soufle du vent, but I like the whole album.
Impressive song writing, professional sound quality and musicianship, and heavenly female vocals. It's in French and I don't understand the lyrics, but the music alone is wonderful to listen to. I just hope there's more on the way.
My first time listening to punk metal and this is a fine introduction. The instrumentation is flawless, it's well mixed and the lyrics (the ones in english at least) are thoughtful and I can certainly relate. This artist/band is very talented.
