i like this album a lot - it reminds of the late eighties, specially elisabeth frazier and the Cocteau Twins - those etheral songs floating above the (then) new waves.
it is nice memory of those days ...
anyone who has at least three stockhausen records at home probably would be interested in this one. I am. It pretends to be serious electronics, and I can imagine it is, but I am missing some information on the background - if you're not just playing around with some sound generators, you probably would like to tell the audience, what you have been doing.
Anyway, interesting recording of this genre.
I had to think a while, than this came to my mind: XHOL, a german band from the early 70ies, that did an album with a very weird saxophone - but than it is simply unfair, to put every new release, every artist into some drawer, label it somehow, just so the music is categorized. There would be another approach to reviewing this album: KraftiM has worked with electonics and the fusion with other instruments before, so this is just consequently following his path.
This is again the meeting of real and synthesized sounds, jazzy sometimes, but jazzy because of the familiar saxophone sound, spacey sometimes because of the electronic energy flowing all around. A trip not structured by some drum machine, not driven by some beat-per-minute loop, but a trip where you go wondering at your own pace.
Did I mention, I like the album :)
great, emotional, dreamy, romantic, soothing, relaxing, pure beauty, sounds for sunrises on the beach, sounds for being together, a real top ten "Kuschelrock" Album, well done!
like the last one
music for an circus, for artists, for a good feeling, for swaying and dancing
jazzy, full of rythm, taking you away, great
jazzy, funky sounds, a bit like a soundtrack, interesting moves, the rythm a bit odd, like a rebirth of some jazz-lounge stuff from the late 70ies - could be real instruments, but i sort of doubt that nowadays - anyway, well done.
