Relaxant, Relaxed, Powerfull, Gentle, Quiet
As with most of their music Doc and Lena create a multilayered meaning on this album,it can be seen as a visual interpretation of each track, like Steppes we can imagine the physical nature of the music,or we can see further and apply no visual interpratation but experience the sound atmosphere
and contemplate on the experience itself, lastly we can use the sounds as a door to inner meditation, calmness and tranquility. Each track has this depth enclosed within, each track is a liberation from negative realities and each track can take us into a new experience of meditation. This is an excellent album and gives a good representation of their music ,i would reccomend this album to all who love Doc and Lena's music over the years.
its good well put together theres no human touch
so its a bit mechanical there are no imorovisation tracks i think they mostly work.but with the bass drum there lies the problem to much use of it for my taste.
i can almost feel the nature of the steppes, the very essence of a place none of us will see.to translate the audio into a vision and in that dream we too can experience the steppes.
prepare yourself for an amazing journey through sounds.just lay back and open your ears let the emotions play.
a couple of tracks like this one and youl have an album.i like the feeling of space in the mix and the choice of sounds well thought out.overall a realy good track .....more please...
Daris explores the human voice and its potential
here he is creating as a avant guard work a strange
evocation earth ritual that seems timeless in its origins.solif is less sharp but just as well produced.it hangs onto its so quiet drone whilst the enviorment moves past.leading us into rest.a very deep rest as silences come and go....
the concept has worked.another angle of music
discovered....well done
excelent production, and a lot of work has gone into this album.it seems to want to go from hard rock to into space opera.and i find the beginings and end of the tracks very good, but a type of newage is also present.
i'll see what i think later....
paniq-unsecurious ive just listened too its a confident piece of work, and yes the structure is good
some of it felt trancy some not ,well produced good recordings, nice use of sound, but theres no relaxation
in it,its hard, cold ,machine like sounds, but thats not important in the energy it is really full.
it quite blew me away the intensity and speed....it's far too fast for me....and i still find the use
of the bass drum in that 4/4 rythms is too hard core for me....i prefer multiple patterns
