SUAVE,MUY BUEN SONIDO.ESENCIA DEL BUEN JAZZ CLÁSICO PERO CON ACORDES NUEVOS. ME IMAGINO AL SAXOFONISTA TOCANDO SOLO EN UNA CALLE CUALQUIERA, DANDO UN SABOR MELANCÓLICO A LAS NOTAS QUE ENTRAN POR LA VENTANA; ES COMO SI LA CIUDAD SE QUEJARA, COMO SI A LA VEZ QUE TE RELAJAS TE TRANSMITE PARTE DE SU ALMA TRISTE; PORQUE SE JUNTAN LA SOLEDAD Y EL BULLICIO. GANA LA SOLEDAD. TRASMITE UNA SERENIDAD ESPECIAL. BUENO CREO QUE HE VISTO MUCHAS PELÍCULAS AMERICANAS.....

Somewhere off Jazz Street nos revela a través de Jamendo, el jazz que seguramente escucharán nuestros tataranietos, un soberbio trabajo de excepcional calidad que conmueve por su enorme carga emotiva y por la facilidad con que permite materializarnos en el centro de cualquier húmeda calle, de cualquier lejana ciudad no importando el mundo y la galaxia donde su ubique, ni mucho menos su universo...Bravo amigos...!

I've been listening to this album already 3 times today and not only i love it, but i consider it to be a keeper for my big jazz collection.

What more is to say. All in all a well done production. Personally i do like the third track. Given the fact that i couldn't stand many jazz productions for a long period of time this album is an example why i fell in love with jazz and will continue to love it.

Wild and willful - sarcastically upbeat yet melancholic. Quite good Jazz. Jazz with an attitude. Somewhere off Jazz Street creates some very expressive, moody, artistic music. I like the sound poetry in this album. It has an easy going step to it and it takes the listener on a journey through the streets of the night. It puts me in mind of the old film noir genre. This album is excellent and I adore it.

Nada mejor que este disco para acompañar mis noches de lectura.Cada ritmo, cada acorde,cada textura se convierten en una página más del mejor libro que en esos momentos esté entre mis manos.
Cuando estás harto de escuchar trivialidades se agradece más que nunca un buen disco de jazz como éste, he dicho bueno. No, excelente.
