Letmein is a band about simple things. They never really were punks but they all like punk rock. They do not listen to radio-friendly pop but are suckers for good melodies and indiepop. They disagree with the snob feeling in the indie scene but still love indie artists, independence and the indie way of doing things. They also try to never forget the moral lessons of bands like Fugazi and Negazione.

Their music is a melting-pot of these elements: energetic but breezy, distorted, based on clean vocal melodies, guitar hooks and schizophrenic drum beats.

The guys from Letmein love to party hard everytime they can but you won't hear a song about beer or fast bikes in their works. They like to talk about the little ordinary things in everyday life, and about the poetry often hidden in them. Their lyrics often flirt with melancholy, hope, and amazement for the outside world. They are doing their best to keep an idealistic point of view upon life, in the conviction that cynism is the end of every kind of suitable magic.

Dès les premières notes, on flaire la qualité.

Ce n'est sans doute pas vrai pour tous les albums, mais en tout cas, c'est loin d'être faux : on peut savoir dès les premières notes d'un album si celui-ci est de grande qualité. On dit que la première impression est souvent la bonne et j'ai l'impression que c'est une bonne théorie.
Preuve à l'appui, quand j'ai appuyé sur "écouté cet album", j'ai, dès les premières notes, su que celui-ci serait un grand cru. Effectivement, rendu à la dernière note, je me dis que ma première impression était la bonne.
Alors, qu'est-ce qui me plaît tant dans cet album ?

Je crois que sa vitalité, son dynamisme m'a saisi et m'a plu. Musique "pêchue" d'entrée, avec un son électrique accentué, des refrains vitaminés, un chanteur qui se donne vraiment à fond...C'est un point très positif surtout dans ce style rock. Dès les premières notes, on sent que l'on a affaire à un groupe relativement "professionnel". Le son est d'une qualité studio, les notes s'enchainent avec mélodie, les morceaux sont vraiment bien ficelés, c'est du travail de pro. Ces chansons s'écoutent facilement, même pour ceux qui ne sont pas des fans du style. Moi qui aime beaucoup ce style, je trouve cet album vraiment très bon, très frais, très dynamique.
Et ça s'entend dès les premières notes.

Avis aux amateurs, c'est du bon, du très bon même.

Ich habe hier ja nun mittlerweile schon sehr viel gute Musik hören dürfen. Aber ein solches Ausnahmealbum wie dieses hier findet man tatsächlich nicht alle Tage. Die Musik geht ihren ganz eigenen Weg, ohne sich jedoch von vorgegebenen Mustern allzu weit zu entfernen. Tatsächlich schafft sie es, die Grenzen zwischen den einzelnen Sparten so geschickt miteinander zu verweben, dass in mir die Frage aufkeimt, warum bisher noch kein anderer auf diese Idee gekommen ist. Das zeugt von einer Kreativität wie sie so manch "großer" Musiker nicht einmal ansatzweise besitzt. Ihr seid definitiv für weit größeres bestimmt, das spüre ich. Ich glaube, die Welt hat nur auf euch gewartet! Die Welt braucht Helden - hier sind sie!!!! Tausend Dank für diese Bereicherung!

Wow, wirklich ein tolles Indie-Album! Die Musik kommt locker frisch daher - das ist Musik wie ich sie mag. Am besten: ANHÖREN, RUNTERLADEN und WERBUNG machen. Das hat die Band verdient.

Das hier ist ein geniales Meisterwerk, mit dem nicht viele mithalten können!
Ich wäre froh wenn ihr noch Alben rausbringen würdet und würde sie sofort holen.

Wow so was hab ich noch nie gehört! Dass ist nicht nur geil dass ist der Hammer!!! Eigentlich so gut wie unbeschreiblich. Man fült sich nicht nur frei sondern auch gut wenn man diese Band hört. Sie ist einfach nur WOW! Es gibt keine worte die es umfassen können...?! Es ist eine Berreicherung wenn man sich so etwas anhört...

Really easy listening pop rock. I think its will easy to be popular to youngster. And recording quality is pro quality!

Vocal is really nice! Lyric is nice. Good for life education. Guitar riff is powerfull, also drum and bass!

Music for young generation!
