At the beginning Madness Garden were supposed to be my side project from the bands that I played in at the time. Madness Garden were my opportunity to create my own sound and do things that I never could have done in the bands that I played in. But after some time I decided to quit some of the bands that I played in and transform the Madness Garden project into a real band. That band included me (Jonas Nilsson) and my two best friends Marcel Elmir and Alexander Smith. But after a while we realized that there wasn..t enough time for Madness Garden as a band. There was too much to do in school so we decided to make Madness Garden into my own project again. My first Song is “THE MADNESS GARDEN” and I was heavily influence by Metallica’s masterpiece “One”. My Second song is “Last of the Kings” and I wrote this song during my school time, the biggest inspiration for this song is the French revolution. My third song is “Freedom Fighters” and this is my first real metal song and I..m very proud of it. My biggest inspirations to this song are the people who fight for justice and freedom. But also the definition of freedom fighters, for some people freedom fighters are the terrorist and this I found very interesting. The Future I will keep on recording and create new songs when I have the time for it. I’m now focusing on making some ballads with a little help from my friend Marcel Elmir. Special Thanks to my father Matthias Nilsson who have mixed all my songs and played all the solos on my songs.
