What a lovely coincidence, from pagans to pagans, I cannot pass through this one without writing a review!
This fantastic trio makes a story-teller album taking the form of an electronic opera full of poetic sound experimentations.
The combination of Ivan speaking and Mary singing make a fantastic ensemble that reminds me a lot the Residents' Demons Dance Alone.
From chill-out styled melodies to noise experimentations, passing through jazz, and epic electronic orchestrations, Cvijaxo made here a sountrack at the height of the poetry. It would be perfect if there were just more voices.
This album should be accompanied with videos. I see lots of real and unreal landscapes, full of blue and red and a few of grass-like green and urban grey. In any case, the pictures are elegant.
Nice work, thanks for this oniric voyage throug that pagan poetry.

...and fuzzy at the same time (which is absoulutely compatible). I'm not sure that I understand the "real" meaning of the poem, I mean, I'm almost sure that I don't, only Mr.1984 can touch by the fingertip the deep meaning of it. That's why I love poetry. So I'm content with listening to the sounds of these soft electronic loops and that voice, and I read the text and I enjoy turning and returning it in my head giving it an infinity of links with life. An envoutant brain exercice that will keep me falling in the fractal floors of my human consciousness until my player will repeat that great single.
The only thing I can note and talk about with certitude is the remarkable consistency between the text and the music
Daris sounds like a crazy trip in some oriental landscape, the original soundtrack of a long travel across a giant desert made of fluorescent sand. A track made of serene madness.
Then the madness go on with Solif, but this one is more torturated than the first track. An oppressive atmosphere, the flashy hot colours of Daris are gone, we are now trapped in the gloomy passage of a psychiatric hospital, with all lights off, crying and screaming alone, waiting for something we don't know. The atmosphere gets softer at the end of the track, but the peace is gone, and is not going to come back... untill the next album maybe...
There is that voice, trying to speak, but it is eaten by that intense soundtrack and maybe its own fear. I don't understand the words, but it really sounds like that.
A realistic sound travel on the path of madness.
