A good swing, great blues feel. Well recorded blues based rock. Plenty of energy. Well worth a listen if you are into festival/pub guitar music. Especially notable for a light, danceable, rhythmic feel good pop. Love it!
If it's something that I hit the play button and get drawn into rather than getting bored, it's a winner. Superb stuff.

A superb progressive rock effort, drawing influences from bands such as Pink Floyd and Jean-Michele Jarre. A playlist by this artist is my listening material for today. Some great keys and guitar work, very clean recording too. Love it.

I listen to a lot of funky house. This is better than 90% of the commercially released stuff.
Well produced, soulful, great playing and singing. A superb effort. What's more there's life in it.
Takes me back to when dance music belonged to the people not the trendies, and clubs were about letting your hair down and being yourself not standing in line. Love it.
Well recorded, dynamic and melodic. It's not the sort of music I'd normally play myself- but this has been superbly put together and is not just technically brilliant but encapsulating.
This takes me right back to the late 1980s and the pop/rock crossover that went on there. Very simple, well put together, clear , crisp mix , tight production , defined programming.
Sounds like it was mixed on an SSL!
Would make a great fill-in piece for film, TV or videogame.
This is a well put together piece of music, defined, evocative and a respectable example of modern composition. There's a lot of Gershwin-era moods created, very much the sort of soundtrack that underpinned the earlier Hollywood classics. The production and recording are suberb too.
There's a lot of music like this around, but then again there is always a demand for this in film and tv , videogames etc. In fact it seems almost taken as a whole from The Sims.
Super generic , yes , but exceptionally well produced.

Folk meets goth, and I rather like it. The Roy Harper swirly waltz rhythm as in "Flycatcher" comes face to face with Bauhaus. Eerie and haunting, with the open chords providing a drone backdrop , and it works well.

Loads of influences here, from Joss Stone to Cascada and La Roux . This sounds like a contemporary of Breathe by Blu Cantrell , that era of hip-hop soul, fine tuned for electro. Harmonies are superlative and production values are chart, at least chart of about 5 or 6 years ago- but I can't say that it sounds particularly dated, more that they don't seem to make these sort of records any more.
A lot of effort has obviously gone in to this work. It's one of the better Jamendo releases and as such sees the gap between free and commercial music narrow.
