Good production, excellent use of sound, and additionally very stripped down and minimal.
Very listenable,leaving quite an impression.

This one is a winner...cut the man a check.

i'm going to start out by formally saying that marac is an idiot. the production is just fine. i will agree that the cymbal mixed into the left channel is kind of annoying (maybe if it weren't so incessantly played or panned) but unlike a lot of small releases, this one is sounds professionally produced. for what they are, the songs are really solid - that said, listening to this, they do sound similar to other rock/electronic acts. i'm not going to be a dick like SOME people and tell you that i think you're ripping stabbing westward off (personally i think you sound more like a mix of robert patrick from filter and trent reznor from nine inch nails) but there is a feeling of sameness there. so if you aren't careful, you may fall into the trappings of no one remembering who you are. as it stands, this is pretty solid and as long as you can keep at it, i think you will definitely be successful in your endeavours.

I liked this a lot, rock, electronic, alternative, industrial album. That is deep, heavy and haunting even, dramatic and very atmospheric-al to my ears, let alone has the odd classical parts as well heard in the odd track via the piano.Slight re- vebration from the sound quality heard if that is what you would call it..a slight annoying affect to my ears. Bar that good album. good music and good vocals.. Enjoyed it a whole lot. Bags of energy, power and beauty within this mini ep.

It's just etherdust floating through the souls of your ears.

really fucking like the tracks here.

there's production issues I'd say, about vocal levels / compression, but that's me being picky.

I don't think this is what the system's here for, but I have to say that the review from 'marac' is toss. Every track is worth a listen, if you like industrial, I can't understand how you could be so negative about these tracks.

My only complaint is that I wish they were part of some kind of massive, 14+ track opus. I want more. Lots more.

excellent stuff, am totally sold.

please write more, man ;)

Quite a mediocre effort. The tunes are catchy, but bad production, mixing, uninteresting vocals and complete lack of originality ruin the positive impression. Nevertheless, if it is only the first demo of a new still-learning band, this project may develop into something interesting. But for the time being they sound like Stabbing Westward cover-band.

More detailed comments:
1 "Before It Breaks Down" - it's the worst track on this EP, mostly because of the poor mixing. The sound of cymbals that can be heard from about 1 minute into the track onward is fully placed in the left channel instead of being mixed in stereo. This is very annoying effect - I almost felt like listening to the first faulty stereo recordings from the sixties. Very unprofessional.

This track differs from the other two by being strictly electronic and instrumental. It's a disadvantage, because both the melody and the electronic effects are monotonous and uncreative.

2 "Take My Place" - it's a typical Stabbing Westward's tune. Even the vocalist's voice and his manner of singing copies the SW vocalist. The one thing that interferes with enjoying this (and the third) track is bad production and unselective sound.

3 "At Someone Else's Funeral" - definitely the best tune on this album. The band managed to build really great atmosphere here (almost like on "What Do I Have to Do?" by SW). Nice piano, too. Unfortunately, the above objections still apply.

Tussi kamaal kitta! Bahut badiya album hai yeh! Pata nahin haathon se kaise chhoot gayee! One of the best albums on Jamendo! Top class REAL music. Kaafi dino se main yahaan par bekaar albums sun raha thha. Finally I got something great.

Nice fast paced music. The rhythm is outstanding. Perhaps the best thing this artist has done is recording. Most 'industrial' album's get some clanger in their recording when converted into mp3 format. But this album retains its originality.

You have got nice talent and I am not gonna miss any of your future albums! Ek cheez hai jo mujhe pareshaan karti hai!
