Juice Connection started out back in 1998 as a music production team with only two full-time members: Stojan Kralj and Borut Praper. The team was originally formed in order to write and record original music for theatre performances. Later the extended team also prepared some live material and performed at a couple of live gigs, but unfortunately those adorably weird sonic excursions were never documented properly.
Working on various different performances, Juice Connection often collaborated with quite a large number of guest musicians, depending on what was required for carrying out a certain project. During its active period, the Juice Connection team wrote, recorded and produced 12 original soundtracks for the following theatre performances, most of them full-length physical theatre / dance performances in need of extensive soundtracks:

After the project LUST, Borut concentrated on his own group, called SUR, while Stojan worked on other things. However, they have often worked together on various projects to date.
The Juice Connection team never limited itself in terms of what style it would or would not dabble into - through all the projects they wrote music for, Juice Connection proved themselves time and again as quite versatile. They strongly believed in collaboration, because that seemed to produce the best and sometimes the most surprising results if done properly. While working on theatre performances, they recorded a variety of tracks ranging from jazz to metal, from ethno to pop, from trip hop to swing, from drum & bass and industrial to classical music and brass band arrangements.
Because of extremely short development times for most performances, lack of technical and financial resources, and thus quite a lot of creative as well as technical improvisation involved in each project, the production quality of the resulting work of the Juice Connection team may perhaps be a bit questionable at times, especially by today's standards, while the tracks recorded at impromptu jam sessions may often be less than perfect in terms of performance, of course. But that is up to the listener, really, and not so very important - the members of Juice Connection got it done and had lots of fun with it, and that is what it all boils down to in the end.
On the tenth anniversary of the first soundtrack they have ever recorded, the original members of Juice Connection (still alive and kicking :)) decided to sift through the material and release it on jamendo, in order for it to be documented and perhaps used again by someone who may find it useful.
