The beginning of the album is a bit metal-like. I really enjoyed the voice =). But with Track number 5 comes my absolute favorite of all songs. The whispering sound of the voice is very great and the final of the song... =)
Unfortunately - the album is very short, but deied has a lot of output =) I'm looking forward to the next release.
Well, nothing more to say. I always liked ghostfog and this album ist totaliy in the tradition of the previous ones, probably not as loud, but I can remember it wrong. To sum up: it is not an awesome masterpiece but at all very good.
Wonderful! The first track is one of the best songs in this genre I've ever heard. And in my oppinion it is not bad that you used synthies, because this gives the music a special touch that raises it above the common standard in this genre.
The second song is great work, too. The lyrics are funny *g* and the sound is dark and rough! "Denn mit meinen schwarzen Zähnen, sieht mein Lächeln furchtbar aus..." absolutely awesome! I could hardly remain sitting on my chair because of laughing *g*
Track number three: wonderful song. So sad and the soft voice fits in 100 per cent.
4th Track: pint full of finest met and just dacing around with friends! Funny and great "party song"!!! Wow... this album seems to be really awesome.. well let's see what the other tracks will give us.
Track 5: wonderful beginning and great accumulation into heavy metal. And the lyrics... great!
6th song: I really liked to guess what would be the next line of the text at the beginning of the song! This album is really great.
7th song: ah melancholy... the voice is superb. it underlines the message of the music perfetcly
final song: well it is the first song where i have to critisize a bit. In my oppinion it doesn't really fit into the album but it has despite that a wonderful character.
To sum up: Haderlump with Drachenschlacht doesn't have to hide! The music is fresh and more than far above the common standard in this genre. Much better and more innovative than other releases of commercial bands in this kind of music. I never missed bagpipes, so please leave them out *g* probably it was this fact, that the music was so new and fresh and awesome to me. Please keep on that great work.

Well, to be honest, I didn't really like this album. I'm cannot say that there was any song on this album I truely liked or that was still in my ear after listening to "Whispers Of The Old World".
Sometimes the music sounds - to me - pretty much the same, so only 5 from 10
wonderful noise that seems to come from somewhere deep down. Well in some way it makes me feeling paranoid =-O

Well, the music is great. I really like the singer's voice and the instruments that are not typical for metal! Great music.
But the mix is extremely bad... the guitars aren't clearly hearable.
I'd like to hear more.
I really like the album! The guitar is great and the keyboard in the background of the first track enriches the music.
My favorite part of track one is at - well - roughly 6:50 when the guitar fades and there are only the keyboards. Reminds me of The Lord Of The Rings Soundtrack in some ways.
The second track is great work, too.
