Equalypse keeps the line of music that could be heard on Beta. The tracks are nice, inventive, melodic electronic music which sound retro in the best sense of the word - more 1980s than 1970s. They kind of remind me of the more melodic bits from Tangerine Dream. While there's a good variety in sounds, I lack more variety in feeling, rhythms, speed of the tracks. Except for two or three, they feel very similar. Oh, and the last track really is a joke - intentional or unintentional, I don't know. Anyway, a very good album worth a listen. If you're looking for original electronic music that isn't cheesy, repetitive or stupid, go for Equalypse's Beta and Gamma.
