'Echoes', is a 10 track, Instrumental, Electronica-New Age Ambient album. The Music in this Collection is True to its "Trappings"! By this I mean, Cover Art, Individual Song Titles, Album Title and Ultimately the Futuristic yet Enigmatically Stylish Mood of the Songs. Listeners who are Familiar with Mainstream Music Artist- Tangerine Dream and specifically their Music as heard in the Soundtrack of the 1983 Film, 'Wavelength' should find this Work of Particular Interest. Musically, this Album is equally deserving to be referred to as "Music of the Spheres"[ an album by Mike Oldfield- best known as the composer of 'Tubular Bells', Theme from the Exorcist Motion Picture Soundtrack. ] Pure, Electronically-Harmonic Synthesizer( as opposed to Melodic or Lyrical ) Melodies evoke Imagery of Outer Space; everything from Stars, Galaxies, Nebulae, The Darkness and Vastness of(space) to Abstract Concepts of Loneliness and thoughts of the Infinite. All of the aforementioned is accomplished by Pieces that range from Serenely Peaceful to Computer-ishly Chirpy. A Sonorous Bass Tone Permeates Collection and Adds to its Feeling of Immense Distance. The Entire Album moves at a Slow, Steady and Methodical Pace--which may be intended as as Musical Metaphor of the Infinite Nature of the Universe. Any of the Songs makes a Good Starting Point but I found that the album's Final Track( #10) 'Mars(Bonus)' makes an Exceptionally Inviting Beginning.
