"Vessel" is the first recording done by Austin, Texas electronic artist Watershed. This music is primarily the work of Steven Allen, with contributions from his son Caleb Allen on later compositions. Watershed has also performed live with vocalist Paul Q-Pek. This CD was recorded in 1999 using a variety of source material; Sonic Foundry samples, sounds from other electronic artists, and sounds, samples and loops created by Watershed. Later recordings feature less store bought samples and more created by the artist and his son. Since "Vessel" was recorded, Watershed has explored many different sides of electronic music, including techno, trance, dance, noise, and ambient sounds.
