A very enjoyable album filled with fine enjoyable songs...En Ti is noteworthy and the best on offer (tho Soneto XVII does come close). This artist has the potential to rise above "very good" which is where he is now.
In all honesty, of all the albums I've downloaded on Jamendo, this album by Nicolas Muma Farruggia is so far my all time favorite. The guitar playing is at such an elevated level, so technical, yet so tasteful. It seems that even though he plays extremely fast, he chooses his notes carefully, so it doesn't feel like he's just showing off how fast he can move his fingers. I don't understand Portuguese, but it doesn't matter, I love this album! Nicolas' voice is so sonorous and warm. I've been listening to this album over and over again for the past few months, and it's perfect. I usually don't write reviews, but in this case, it had to be done. I can't wait to hear Nicolas' further work. His other album, a classical recital, is also perfect.
